Purpose

To procure a 4-year tree maintenance contract;
intended as a framework contract with not less than 3 contractors
appointed.

Content

Resolved:-
(1)   
that
delegated authority is given to the Executive Director for Place to
undertake a procurement exercise for the delivery of tree
maintenance services with a contract term of up to 4 years for the
period 2025-2029;

 
(2)   
that
delegated authority is given to the Executive Director for Place,
in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Environment and
Highways, to award and enter into framework contracts with all
successful bidders on terms to be agreed with the Executive
Director for Place in consultation with the Service Director of
Governance and Monitoring Officer, for tree maintenance services
over a contract term of up to 4 years for the period
2025-2029;
 
(3)   
that the
Service Director of Governance and Monitoring Officer be authorised
execute any documents necessary to give effect to the proposal in
recommendation (1) and (2) above.
