Resolved:-
 
(1)         
that the Department for Education capital grant award of
£650,000 is accepted, enabling the development of two new
children’s homes for young people with complex needs in
Sandwell;

 
(2)         
that delegated authority is given to the Interim Assistant
Director, Commissioning, Partnerships and Improvement, Children and
Education, acting in consultation with the Director of Children and
Education and the Executive Director Finance and Transformation and
Section 151 Officer, to approve the purchase of property associated
with the grant funding and implement the proposed project including
taking all ancillary actions reasonably arising from the
implementation of the proposed project.
