That Cabinet gives approval to:
 
(1)     ‘The Borough of Sandwell
Smoke Control Order 2022’ coming into operation on 1st July
2024.
 
(2)     The introduction of an
enforcement procedure that includes education, engagement and
support, with the option to serve civil financial penalty notices
(FPNs) for persistent breaches of the rules, reflecting amendments
to the Clean Air Act 1993 brought about by the Environment Act 2021
as set out in Appendix 2.
