Purpose

Through its Registration Service, the Council
provides a suite of bereavement related services for the residents
of the borough and those organisations and families who chose to
use its excellent services and facilities.

This includes the provision of catering services at our Reception
Suite and newly renovated Café.

Several quotations and tendering exercises have taken place to
identify a suitable supplier with no success. A QQ exercise was
revisited recently with one quote submitted which by LWC Drinks Ltd
which it is felt meets the services requirements.

Therefore, following their return and in accordance with the
Contract Procedure Rules it is recommended that LWC Drinks be
awarded the contract.

That, the Assistant Director of Law and
Governance award the contract for the supply of alcoholic and
non-alcoholic drinks to the Council’s Bereavement Services to
LWC Drinks Ltd, 74 Southern Avenue, Leominster HR6 0QF.
