Resolved:-
 
(1)         
that the September 2024 Teacher Pay Award is agreed as 5.5 per cent
uplift to all pay points and allowances for both teachers and
leaders for all local authority-maintained schools. All pay uplifts
will be backdated to 1 September 2024;
 
(2)         
that the Unattached Teachers’ Pay Policy 2024/25 is approved,
and implemented by the Council, with effect from 1 September
2024;
 
(3)         
that the Model Schools’ Pay Policy 2024/25 is approved, and
recommended to the Governing Bodies of Schools in Sandwell for
adoption and implementation with effect from 1 September 2024.
