Purpose

The report sets out the need
for card acquiring services across the Council. This will allow the
Council to continue to receive income via debit and credit
cards.
 
It also seeks authority to
commence a procurement exercise for the continued provision of a
card acquiring services following the end of the existing contract
in March 2026.

(1)

approval be given to begin a
procurement exercise for the provision of card acquiring services
utilising the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) RM6325 Framework
Agreement.
 

(2)

the Executive Director of
Corporate Services and Commercial, in consultation with the Cabinet
Member - Corporate Services be granted delegated authority to award
the contract.

debit card processing facilities that will meet its
