and Fast Food Outlet Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for
public consultation be approved.

The draft Scoping Report for the Hot Food
Takeaways and Fast Food Outlet Supplementary Planning Document is
the first stage of producing the SPD. It is intended to alert
stakeholders and others to the Council producing the document and
its broad content and seek comments. This will inform subsequent
stages of the SPD which will also be consulted on.

Considered and Rejected
 
Not to do a new SPD and rely on the current
SPD. It is not a requirement to do an SPD on this (or other topics)
but the existing one has been overtaken by national policy, and it
is necessary that local and national policy are
consistent.
