Purpose

To seek approval for the
progression of a Traffic Regulation Order the effect of which would
require all vehicles on Angers Lane, Melling to proceed in a
westerly direction.
 

Decision

Decision(s):

 

1.   
The approval of the One
Way Traffic Regulation Order on Angers Lane, Melling, be
noted.

2.   
The necessary legal procedures, including public
consultation and advertising the Council’s intention to
implement the Order, were approved.

3.   
In the event that
no objections were received during the consultation
process referred to in (2) above, the Chief Legal and Democratic
Officer was authorised to make the Order, and the Highway
Management Manager was authorised to implement the Order.
In the event that objections were
received during the consultation process, the matter was referred
to the Licensing & Regulatory Committee for consideration in
accordance with the Council’s Constitution.

That
progression of the TRO be approved.
