Purpose

To seek approval for the
introduction of an At any time footway / verge parking ban on the
whole length of Nevill Street, Southport.
 

Decision

Decision(s):
 
1. 
Approve the introduction of the Traffic Regulation Order, as
detailed within the report, be noted.
2. 
The necessary legal procedures, including public consultation and
advertising the Council’s intention to implement the Order,
were approved.
3. 
In the event that no objections were received during the
consultation process referred to in (2) above, the Chief Legal and
Democratic Officer was authorised to make the Order, and the
Highway Management Manager was authorised to implement the Order.
In the event that objections were received during the consultation
process, the matter was referred to the Licensing & Regulatory
Committee for consideration in accordance with the Council’s
Constitution, be noted
