Purpose
To seek approval for the
progression of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will
introduce limited waiting at the junction of Marsh Brows with
Freshfield Road, Formby.
Decision
Decision(s):
The progression of a Traffic
Regulation Order, the effect of which would prohibit waiting
‘at Any Time’ at the junction of Marsh Brows and
Freshfield Road, Formby for a length of 15 metres on all sides of
the junction, was noted.
The necessary legal procedures,
including those of public consultation and advertising the
Council’s intention to implement the Order, were
noted.
In the event that no
objections were received during the consultation process
referred to in (2) above, the Chief Legal and Democratic
Officer was authorised to make the Order and the Highway
Management Manager was authorised to implement the Order;
and in the event that objections were received during the
consultation process, the matter was referred to the
Licensing & Regulatory Committee for consideration in
accordance with the Council’s Constitution.

Decision(s):
The progression of the TRO be approved, due to
reasons outlined in the report.
