Purpose

To seek approval for the
progression of an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order the
effect of which would Prohibit all vehicles proceeding in a
south-easterly direction along Hougoumont Avenue, Waterloo, from
its junction with South Road to the northwest kerbline of the car
park entrance road on Hougoumont Avenue.
 

Decision

Decision(s):
 
(1) The approved One-Way
Temporary Traffic Regulation Order on Hougoumont Avenue between its junction with the car
park access road and South Road, be noted.
 
(2) The necessary legal
procedures, including those of advertising the Council’s
intention to implement the Temporary Traffic Regulation Order, were
approved.
 
(3) In the event that no
objections were received during the consultation process referred
to in (2) above, the Chief Legal and Democratic Officer was
authorised to make the Order and the
Highway Management Manager was authorised to implement the
Order.
