Purpose
To
seek approval for the progression of a Traffic Regulation Order,
the effect of which will introduce a 20mph speed limit on the
following new roads: Eagle Close, Harrier
Close, Hobby Crescent, Kestrel Way, Kingfisher Gardens, Little Owl
Close, Marsh Drive, Merlin Way, Montagu Drive, Peregrine Drive,
Puffin Close, Red Kite Way, Seahawk Court, Sparrowhawk Close,
Maghull. And to introduce Limited Waiting
Parking Bays and No Waiting at Any Time on Poverty Lane, Gadwall
Close, Goshawk Drive.

Decision(s):
(1)
The approved implementation of the new changes to existing Traffic
Regulation Orders, as detailed within the report, be noted.
(2)
The necessary legal procedures, including those of public
consultation and advertising the Council’s intention to
implement the Order, be noted.
(3)
In the event that no objections were received during the
consultation process referred to in (2) above, the Chief Legal and
Democratic Officer was authorised to make the Order and the Highway
Management Manager was authorised to implement the Order; and in
the event that objections were received during the consultation
process, the matter was referred to the Licensing & Regulatory
Committee for consideration in accordance with the Council’s
Constitution, be noted.
