Purpose

To seek approval to: introduce
‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions on Pendle Drive
and Bowland Drive and an amendment to the Bus Lane on Gorsey
Lane.
 

Decision

Decision(s):
(1) 
The approved implementation of the new changes to
existing Traffic Regulation Orders, as detailed within the
report, be
noted.
(2) 
The necessary legal procedures, including those of
public consultation and advertising the Council’s intention
to implement the Order, be noted.
(3) 
In the event that no objections
were
received during the consultation
process referred to in (2) above, the Chief Legal and Democratic
Officer was
authorised to make the Order and the
Highway Management Manager was authorisedto implement the Order; and in the event that objections
were
received during the consultation
process, the matter was referred to
the Licensing & Regulatory Committee for consideration in
accordance with the Council’s Constitution, be
noted.
 
Reason for
the Decision(s):
 
Due
to the reasons highlighted in the report the progression of the TRO
be approved.
