to seek the Cabinet Member’s approval of the Strategic
Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) report and five-year
housing supply position statement for 2025.

Reason(s)
for the Decision:
 
Sefton’s five-year housing supply position is set out
above and in more detail within the SHLAA report attached. It is
recommended that the SHLAA report and the five-year housing supply
position for 2025 is approved.
 
 
Alternative Options Considered and Rejected:
 
None.
A SHLAA and five-year housing supply assessment is required every
year as good practice and to help in decision making for planning
applications and Local Plan monitoring.
