To seek approval to extend the
current Transport Technical Support Services Contract by 2 months
from the 1 January 2026 to the 28 February 2026.

2026 to the 28 February 2026, be

Reason(s)
for the Decision:
 
That
the requested extension be approved allowing support to be
continual until the start of new contract.
 
Alternative Options Considered and Rejected:
 
The
only alternative would be to separately procure pieces of work
required between the current end of Contract and the later start of
a new one. This has subsequently been rejected as it is unlikely to
provide value for money and likely to cause delays and unnecessary
cost to the current workload within the Capital
Programme.
