Purpose

To seek
approval to agree to One Vision Housing (OVH) Local Lettings
schemes at their new-build developments in Lydiate Gate, Lydiate
and Summerhill Park, Maghull.

The approved One Vision
Housing (OVH) Local Lettings schemes at their
new-build developments in Lydiate
Gate, Lydiate and Summerhill Park, Maghull, be
noted.

 

Reason(s) for the Decision:
 

The availability of new build properties by a
Registered Provider in such a high demand area is to be welcomed by
the Council. The Council should look to support its largest
Registered Provider to make these developments as sustainable and
successful as possible. 
 

Alternative Options Considered and
Rejected:

 

The Council could withhold approval from One Vision
to operate these two Local Lettings schemes, although this could be
disadvantageous to both the communities that they are trying to
create and to the Council’s working relationship with the
organisation.
