Purpose

In accordance with the Councils Contract Procedure Rules, this report seeks Cabinet Member approval of tender and approval for an allocation of additional funds from unallocated balances in the Education High Needs Capital Grant to support work to provide additional SEND classroom space at Holy Family Catholic High School.

1. The approved additional capital funds of £896,541.80 from unallocated balances in the High Needs Capital Grant to capital budget CC236 – Classroom Modular Block to create 6nr. additional classrooms be noted;
2. The accepted tender produced via an approved framework, be noted;
3. The Assistant Director Education and Inclusion be authorised to enter into contracts with the successful contractor.
