Purpose

In accordance with the Council’s Contract Procedure Rules, this report seeks Cabinet Member approval for acceptance of the lowest tender to undertake refurbishment of the former Hatton Hill Infant Building for use as SEND provision to be known as Newfield Primary South which is due to open in September 2026

Decision(s):

1. The accepted most advantageous bid, be noted.
2. The Assistant Director Education be authorised to enter into contracts with the successful contractor.
3. The approved additional capital funds of £10,969 from unallocated balances in the HNPCA Grant to capital budget CC320 to cover the shortfall in the available budget - Refurbishment of vacant school building to create a new primary SEMH provision known as Newfield Primary South, be noted.
