Purpose

The Council has received an application from YMBA Bootle to nominate and list the Lock & Quay, 2 Irlam Road, Bootle L20 4AH as an Asset of Community Value.

The Council has an obligation to consider such Nominations under the Localism Act 2011.

1. The approved nomination and listing of Lock & Quay, 2 Irlam Road, Bootle L20 4AH as an Asset of Community Value, be noted.
2. The Chief Democratic and Legal Services Officer be authorised to register such interest as a land charge on the property’s title and that it be included on the list of Assets of Community Value on the Council’s website.

Reasons for the recommendation:

The property should be listed as an asset of community value.

There are no alternative options available due to the requirement to meet the legislative guidance.
