·
Developer Contributions to Southport Visitor
Infrastructure

Decision

Decision(s):

That the Scoping Reports for the Nature and
Developer Contributions to Southport Visitor
Infrastructure Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) be approved
for public consultation

Reasons for the Decision(s):

To approve two SPD scoping
report to be published for public consultation in accordance with
Local Plan making regulations.

Alternative Options
Considered and Rejected: (including any
Risk Implications)

The alternative options are
that the two SPDs are not progressed. Whilst SPDs are not required
to be published, they add detail to the adopted Sefton Local Plan
and support good planning decisions.
The current Nature Conservation SPD dates from 2017 and is becoming
out of date, especially with the enactment of the 2021 Environment
Act.
