Purpose

The Travel contract with
TravelPerk, which was market tested in 2022, expires on 31 July
2024 after two years.  The contract
terms and conditions were drafted to include a two year’s
extension based on two times twelve months.  It is recommended that the contract be extended on
that basis.

contract with TravelPerk Ltd be extended by two years as per the
terms and conditions of the contract originally placed in November

Rationale and Evidence for the Decision(s):
 
The council has confirmed that
TravelPerk provide a high standard of service which is responsive,
competitive, provides for value for money and meets its service
requirements.  TravelPerk are
particularly efficient with short term bookings.  Staff and users have confidence in the quality and
reliability of the service provided which is important by the
nature of this high profile service to
the Council.
