Purpose

This report is to request
Cabinet Members’ authority to commence a mini tendering
exercise through the YPO (Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation) for
the provision of services and maintenance of public conveniences in
the Wards listed above. YPO DPS 879 Building in Use Support
Services and will be evaluation on the basis of most economically
advantageous tender for the duration of a 2+1+1 contract.

     the tender process
to select the provider for the cleaning and maintenance of the
Council’s public toilets be approved.
 
(2)      delegated authority be
designated to the Assistant Director of People (Operational
in-house services) to award the Contract resulting from the
procurement process. [and to award any extension
thereof].
 

 

Reasons for the Decision(s):
 
To commence the award /
delivery of service and maintenance of all public conveniences
throughout the borough to maintain service delivery, providing the
council with a more efficient and cleaner / greener
