Purpose
To advise the Cabinet Member of
the results of the 2023/2024 Pedestrian Crossing review and to seek
approval to progress feasibility designs on the top five
prioritised sites.
Decision
Decision(s):
That the Pedestrian Crossing Programme outlined in this report, subject
to his approval of the 2024/25 Transportation Capital Programme be
approved.
Reasons for the Decision(s):
Cabinet Member has delegated
powers to approve the programme of schemes within the Local
Transport Plan Transportation Capital Programme. The proposed
programmes of schemes and projects are aimed at achieving the
approved aims and objectives of the LCR Transport Plan for Growth
and the Sefton 2030 vision.
