seek approval for the 2024 / 2025 Capital Funded Local Safety
Scheme Programme that will target the replacement of existing
Vehicle Activated Signs across our network to continue to
encourage slower vehicle speeds on Sefton’s roads.

Decision(s):
 
The Local Safety Scheme Programme is
established each year by investigating the recorded injury accident
records for the whole of Sefton over the past 3-year period. The
results of which are reviewed and where possible and appropriate
mitigating engineering measures or schemes are developed.
