About

The Development & Infrastructure Advisory Committee is responsible for initiating and developing policy within areas such as Development Control, the Local Plan, Planning Policy, Conservation, Transport Policy, and Wellbeing. It undertakes research and development projects, submitting recommendations to the Cabinet. The committee also considers matters referred by the Portfolio Holder and develops its annual work plan. It operates in an advisory capacity, with its recommendations feeding into decisions made by the Cabinet.
