About

The Finance & Investment Advisory Committee is responsible for policy initiation and development within areas such as financial strategy, corporate governance, and investments. It considers matters referred by the Portfolio Holder and can undertake research and development projects, submitting recommendations to the Cabinet. The committee also develops its annual work plan and ensures cooperation with other council committees. Its remit covers financial strategy, local tax, procurement, strategic risk, and investments, among other areas.
