About

The Housing & Health Advisory Committee is responsible for policy initiation and development within areas including Housing Strategy & Policy, Housing Standards, Homelessness, Health, and Wellbeing. It considers matters referred by the Portfolio Holder and undertakes research and development projects at the request of the Cabinet or Audit Committee, submitting recommendations. The committee develops its own annual work plan and receives reports on the Portfolio Holder's activities and future decisions. It aims to foster cooperation with other council committees.
