People & Places Advisory Committee

The People & Places Advisory Committee is responsible for policy initiation and development within areas such as community planning, safety, town centres, tourism, and wellbeing. It considers matters referred by the Portfolio Holder and undertakes research and development projects at the request of the Cabinet or Audit Committee, submitting recommendations. The committee also develops its annual work plan and receives reports on the Portfolio Holder's activities and future decisions. Its role is advisory, focusing on policy and recommendations rather than executive decision-making.
