About

The Senior Officer Employment Sub-Committee is responsible for making decisions and recommendations regarding the employment of senior council officers. It considers and recommends appointments and dismissals for the Chief Executive, and determines matters relating to the appointment, dismissal, and discipline of Executive Directors and other senior statutory officers. The sub-committee also handles employment matters for officers reporting to these senior roles, excluding those with solely secretarial or clerical duties. Due to the nature of individual cases, meetings may not be open to the public.
