Purpose

Tenders received via conducting Closed Competitive Process using suppliers registered on ConstructionLine.

Decision

That the tender of OW Brickwork Ltd in the sum £142,595 is accepted; and Letters of Acceptance are issued accordingly.

Decision taken by the Director of Finance & Commercial Services or his nominee under the authority delegated by Cabinet on 15/03/2023.

Reasons for the decision

The scheme was awarded to OnSite Central Ltd in March 2024 after scoring highest in the tender.  Since then, OnSite have now declared that they could no longer complete the project at the quoted price. 

As the contract had not been signed with OnSite, we are rescinding the letter of acceptance and awarding to the 2nd placed supplier who has confirmed that they can hold their price.  Tender response still valid under the 90-day period under the tender documents.

None.

The above contracts have been awarded in accordance with approved tender processes and the budgets are in place.
