9.1

The
Director of Children’s and Families introduced the report
which provided an update to the Committee on the annual Children
and Families self-evaluation of social work practice which is
shared with Ofsted. Ofsted request this self-evaluation to help
them see whether leaders and managers have a grip on practice and
are taking suitable action.

9.2

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: That the Education,
Children and Families Policy Committee:-

the overview of the Children and Families Self Evaluation Framework
and updates provided.

Reasons for Decision

9.3.1

To
update the Education, Children and Families policy committee of
work undertaken in the Children and Families Self Evaluation
Framework.

As this is an update, there are no alternative
options to consider.
