The Committee received a report from the Head
of Lifelong Learning and Skills which provided the Committee with
updated information about provision in the Lifelong Learning and
Skills service up to 31st December 2024, as presented to
the Lifelong Learning and Skills Advisory Board in January
2025.

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: That the Economic
Development and Skills Policy Committee:
 

 

(a) 
Reviews the performance of Lifelong Learning and Skills against the
grant funding we receive and against our targets and national
picture
(b) 
Takes note of this performance report and plans for further
development and impact for the service of Sheffield residents

purposes about the delivery of Adult Skills provision, Study
Programme provision and Apprenticeship provision by Sheffield City
Council, through the Lifelong Learning and Skills service and

at this point.
