The report provides an update
on the Stocksbridge Towns Fund projects and the outcomes of the
Governance review requested by the Committee.

RESOLVED
UNANIMOUSLY: That the Transport,
Regeneration and Climate Policy Committee:-
 

(a) 
confirms that they are satisfied with the governance
review and its outcomes; and
 

(b) 
acknowledges the project updates.

Reasons for Decision

The governance review was
requested by Strategy and Resources Committee to be undertaken by
Transport, Regeneration and Climate Committee. Acknowledgement of
the review and its outcomes ensures the committees responsibilities
for this action are discharged.

Alternatives Considered and Rejected

Alternative Option
1:
Employ third party to undertake
the review on behalf of the Council.
 
It was felt that this was an
unnecessary cost to the Council as the Ministry of Housing,
Communities and Local Government guidance and template provided a
sufficiently robust and objective framework for Council officers to
undertake the review.
