9.1

The Committee received a report containing the
Committee’s Work Programme for consideration and discussion.
The aim of the Work Programme is to show all known, substantive
agenda items for forthcoming meetings of the Committee, to enable
this committee, other committees, officers, partners and the public
to plan their work with and for the Committee. It was highlighted
that this is a live document and Members input to it was
invaluable.
 
It was noted that work was progressing well on
the item scheduled for the August meeting of Strategy and Resources
Policy Committee “Burial Provision in Sheffield” but
that that the item would not be ready for this meeting as further
work is needed to provide a more informed update and a delay will
increase the likelihood of being able to identify some of the
sites.  It was proposed that this item
be rescheduled to the September meeting of this Committee and that
the August meeting be cancelled, due to there now being no business
for that agenda.

 

 

9.2

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: That Strategy and
Resources Policy Committee:-
 
(a) that the Committee’s work programme,
as set out in Appendix 1 be agreed, 
including the additions and amendments identified in Paragraph 4 of
the report and any agreed by members at the meeting; and
 
(b) that approval be given for the Strategy
and Resources Policy Committee scheduled for 6 August 2025 to be
cancelled due to there now being no business for that
agenda.
