10.1

The
Director of Finance and Commercial Services introduced the report
which provided an update on the development of Sheffield City
Council’s revised Ethical Procurement Policy. The policy
development process comprised of multiple drafting phases, during
which time a range of stakeholders were invited to review the
policy (including SME’s and VCFSE’s). Most recently,
the draft policy was made available for public consultation via the
Have Your Say platform. It was highlighted that a brief period of
further targeted engagement was currently underway to capture
feedback from areas not fully addressed during the original
consultation.
