9.1

The Committee considered a report of the
Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services which provided an
update on the performance commitments agreed by the Communities,
Parks and Leisure Policy Committee in June 2025, outlining progress
made across the Parks, Leisure, Libraries service area.

 

 

9.2

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: That the
Communities, Parks and Leisure Policy Committee:-

(a) 
Notes the Parks, Leisure and Libraries quarterly performance and
the progress made against the June 2025 performance commitments;
and

(b) 
Endorses the continued use of the structured reporting

Reasons for
Decision

 

 

9.3.1

The Communities, Parks and Leisure Policy
Committee has delegated authority to monitor the performance of
Parks, Leisure and Libraries and Communities services to ensure
that:

The service is delivering for the people of Sheffield

·      
Limited resources are maximised due to budgetary pressures

·      
The Council is delivering on corporate priorities

9.4.1

No alternative options were considered for
this report. The purpose of the report is to provide an update on
progress against previously agreed performance commitments, and as
such, it follows the structure and scope set out in the June 2025
report to the Committee.
