Purpose

To set out the current Microsoft
Enterprise Agreement Licences and the Microsoft Unified Support
service delivered to the Council.

To set out the importance of Microsoft
Enterprise Agreement Licences and the Microsoft Unified Support
service to the Council’s IT infrastructure.

To propose the commission and procurement
of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Licences and Microsoft Unified
Support.

Content

(1)      The commissioning of
Microsoft Enterprise Agreement licences with an external Microsoft
approved reseller for the next four years with an estimated value
of £11.2m as set out in this report;

 

(2)      The commissioning of
Microsoft Unified support from an external provider for the next
four years with an estimated value of £1m as set out in this
report;

 

(3)      The procurement strategy
to call-off a four year, £11.2m service contract from
CCS Technology Services 3 framework Lot 3c to
deliver Microsoft Enterprise Agreement licences and subsequent
contract award, as set out in this report;

 

(4)      The procurement strategy
to call-off a four year, £1m service contract from CCS
G-cloud 13 framework to deliver Microsoft Unified
Support and subsequent contract award, as set out in this
report.
