Purpose

Agreement is sought for a
number of sites vested within the Neighbourhood Services portfolio,
which are listed within Appendix A, be declared surplus as they are
no longer required by the portfolio for service
delivery.

Content

That the sites listed within
the report be declared surplus to the requirements of the
Neighbourhood Services portfolio.

Reasons for the decision

The sites are not required to carry out the
delivery of services by the Housing Service or any other service
within the Neighbourhood Services portfolio.

Alternative options considered

The sites have been considered as sites for
the Council’s new build Council housing Stock Increase
Programme, but this is currently not seen as the best option to
deliver new affordable homes.
