Purpose

To detail the approach to the commissioning
and procurement of metalwork services for the Council.
 
The procurement in this report is for services
that are a commonly recurring requirement of the Council.
 
The report will provide a brief description of
the services, the value, the method of funding and the proposed
procurement route.
 
The purpose of the report is to provide
sufficient information for the Director of Operational Services to
provide authority for the commission of the services and the
procurement to be undertaken.

Content

That the Director of
Operational Services:
 

Approves the commissioning of metalwork services for a period of
4 years and an estimated value of £804,256, as set out in
this report;

 

Approves the procurement strategy and contract awards of the
metalwork contracts to deliver the commissioning strategy, as set
out in this report.
