The Director of Quality, Strategy Delivery and Partnerships and the Strategic Commissioning Manager were in attendance to present an update on the September 2025 decision to initiate a joint procurement process for an Integrated Community Equipment Loan Service (ICELS). The initial decision was provided to co-commission with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC). An update to the process was provided in March 2025, noting the inclusion of City of Doncaster Council (CDC) and the South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (SYICB) as a region rather than a place.

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: Following discussions between the Chair, Members, the Director and the Legal representative it was decided that this item be postponed as more information was requested about proposed ICELs (Integrated Community Equipment Contracts). It was agreed that an All Committee briefing would take place ahead of an Extraordinary Policy Committee meeting to consider this item.
