12.1

To update this Committee on the 2024 Tramlines
event, including a summary of the ground protection plan and work
to restore Hillsborough Park to pre-festival condition.

 

 

12.2

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: That the
Charity Trustee Sub-Committee notes the contents of the report.

 

 

12.3

Reasons for
Decision

 

 

12.3.1

Charity Trustee Sub Committee is asked to note
the work carried out by Sheffield City Council (SCC) and Tramlines
Event Limited (TEL) to protect and restore Hillsborough Park to
pre-festival condition.

 

 

12.3.2

The recommendations in this report set out
that SCC and TEL will continue to work together, informed by
customer engagement and feedback from this committee, to ensure the
success of the Tramlines Festival and that the festival will remain
of benefit to the Hillsborough Park charity.

 

 

12.4

Alternatives
Considered and Rejected

 

 

12.4.1

Alternative Option 1: Do Nothing
This option was rejected as Committee would
not have received a report setting out the impact of the festival
on the Hillsborough Park Charity. The Trustees would not be aware
of the measures taken by SCC and TEL to protect the Hillsborough
Park Charity, from the impacts of the Tramlines Festival.
