11.1

The
Chair proposed that this decision be deferred until the next
meeting on the following premise:
 
“Due to the publication of an inaccurate article in the
media and to prevent any further misinformation creating anxiety
amongst our fostering community, I am proposing that we defer this
item until the December meeting. This will allow officers and
members to engage further with members of the public and to ensure
that the correct information is communicated, before we make a
decision”
 

11.2

A vote
was taken, and the result was as follows: For 5, Against 0,
Abstentions 3. The proposal was therefore carried.

11.3

RESOLVED: That the Education, Children and
Families Policy Committee:-

Defer the decision of this item to the next meeting of the
Committee to be held on 18 December 2024.
