Investigating and Disciplinary Committee

The Investigating and Disciplinary Committee is appointed by Slough Borough Council to handle disciplinary matters concerning senior officers, specifically the Chief Executive, Monitoring Officer, and Chief Finance Officer. This politically balanced committee, composed of five councillors, ensures that at least one member is not from the Cabinet. Its role is to investigate and make decisions on disciplinary issues affecting these key leadership positions within the council.
