About

The Slough Health & Wellbeing Board is a statutory body established in April 2013 under the Health and Social Care Act 2012. It is responsible for preparing and publishing a joint strategic needs assessment and a joint health and wellbeing strategy for Slough. The Board's refreshed strategy, focusing on four priority areas – Starting Well, Integration, Strong, Healthy and Attractive Neighbourhoods, and Workplace Health – aims to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents. The Board will lead on work in two of these priority areas and influence others in the remaining two.
