About

This committee's pages detail decisions, including key ones, made by the Chief Executive under urgency provisions for executive functions, as outlined in the Council's Constitution. The Chief Executive, after consulting the Leader or Deputy Leader where possible, can exercise executive powers in emergencies or urgent situations. Decisions on urgency consider if delaying action would harm the Council's interests, if an emergency meeting or Leader's Action is feasible, and if a subsequent member meeting is appropriate.
