Decision

(a) 
That the acquisition
of two freehold houses be agreed comprising:
 

· 
36 Moreland Avenue,
Colnbrook, Slough, SL3 0LR, and

· 
37 Spencer Road,
Slough, SL3 8RR
 

(b) 
Delegated authority to
the Executive Director of Regeneration, Housing & Environment,
in consultation with the Lead Member for Financial Oversight and
Council Assets and the Executive Director of Finance and
Commercial, to negotiate the terms of and enter into the contract
and any associated documentation in connection with the acquisition
of the asset, subject to satisfactory legal and technical due
diligence and this being consistent with the assumptions in this
report.

 

(c) 
Noted that an HRA
Acquisition Policy would be brought to Cabinet in June 2025 to
provide a clear framework for future acquisitions.
