Purpose

To consider a report on the procurement process for
commissioning Integrated Sexual Health Services.

Decision

· 
Approved the
delegation of function of the commissioning of sexual health
services, to include procurement and award of contract to a third
party, in accordance with duties under the Health and Social Care
Act 2012 to Bracknell Forest Council for a period of 7 years from
the commencement date of the Inter Authority Agreement. 
 
· 
Pending entering into
the Inter-Authority Agreement to facilitate the decision at
paragraph 1.2.1, approved the procurement of an Integrated Sexual
Health service to be led by Bracknell Forest Council on behalf of
the Berkshire East local authorities for an initial term of 5 years
(1st July 2026 – 30th June 2031) with two (2) 12-month
optional extensions.

Approved the
delegation of function of reporting and monitoring the NHS Health
Checks programme in accordance with the duties under the Health and
Social Care Act 2012 to Bracknell Forest Council for a period of 7
years from the commencement date of the Inter Authority
Agreement.
 
· 
Delegated authority to
the Director of Public Health, in consultation with the Lead Member
for Equalities, Public Health and Public Protection, to enter into
an inter-authority agreement to facilitate the delegation of
function.
