Purpose

As agreed by Cabinet on 20th January 2025,
following Council approval of the revised Council Tax Support
Scheme, to consider the Hardship Fund Policy for
2025/26.

Decision

I. 
Adopted the CTS
Hardship Policy outlined in Appendix A of the report. 

 

II. 
Delegated authority to
the Executive Director of Corporate Resources, following
consultation with the Lead Member for IT, Customer Services,
Revenues and Benefits, Procurement, and Performance, to review the
scheme on an annual basis and propose any changes to Cabinet for
approval.
