Purpose

To consider the findings of the Inspecting local authority children’s services (ILACS) report into children’s services in Slough and the improvement plan.

Decision

That the outcome of the Ofsted Inspection of Local Authorities Children’s Services (ILACS) that took place between 2 to 17 July 2026 be noted, including the proposed improvement action plan overview produced by Slough Children First and appended at Appendix B and the proposed internal improvement governance arrangements at Appendix C.
