Purpose

To seek approval to procure and implement a new integrated digital platform for the Family Information Service (FIS) and SEND Local Offer.

Decision

1. Approved the procurement of a new integrated Family Information Service (FIS) and SEND Local Offer digital platform, with an estimated total contract value of approximately £350,000 over three years.

1. Delegated authority to the Executive Director Children’s Services, in consultation with the Lead Member for Children’s Services and Lifelong Learning, to finalise the procurement methodology with a view to the new platform being operational from March 2027.
